🌟 Meet John Konkel – Emergency Services & CIT Coordinator 🌟
John has been part of the Eastern Shore Community Services Board since July 2013 and brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to our Emergency Services team.
A Licensed Professional Counselor, John earned his Master’s in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in 2012. He holds multiple certifications, including:

Certified Emergency Services Clinician

Certified CIT Trainer and Instructor for CIT Trainers

Certified Peer Recovery Specialist Supervisor

Certified DHP LMHP Supervisor for Licensure
His passion for mental health and community wellness is undeniable. When asked what drew him to the field, John shared:
“I’ve always found people very interesting, and enjoy the incredible diversity found in the mental health field. I have a passion to help our Eastern Shore community, and I’m thankful that this is the vision of our CSB and our leadership team.”
