Every now and then, you cross paths with someone whose energy, purpose, and work ethic make you realize how fortunate an organization is to have them. For ESCSB, Chiquita White is exactly that person.
Meet Chiquita White – Health Information Technician
Chiquita joined the Eastern Shore Community Services Board in 2023, and in a short time has made a lasting impression on everyone around her. As our Health Information Technician, she is the go-to resource for records and a steadfast presence at the front lines of our organization.
But Chiquita’s story extends well beyond her role here. Academically trained in Theology, she serves as Director of Operations for a women’s ministry based out of Newport News, VA. She also facilitates “Communion with Friends,” a community conference call rooted in connection and faith, and is the founder of SheServes, a virtual assistant network providing executive and administrative support to faith-based and nonprofit organizations for conferences and ceremonial events. Her commitment to service is not just a job title. It is a way of life.
That same spirit carries directly into her work at ESCSB. Her supervisor shared:

If you need records, she is the one to call. She is a team player and is always willing to step up and cover the front desk if we are short-staffed.
