Our Mission

The Mission of the ESCSB is to provide services, supports, prevention, and education regarding mental health, intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and substance use issues to the people of the Eastern Shore of Virginia utilizing a person-centered, coordinated care delivery model.

Who We Serve

Our mission is to improve mental health and wellbeing in our community. We offer services for adults and family members with mental illness, substance use, and developmental disabilities. Our prevention services teach about resilience and mental health. We serve over 2,000 individuals annually and offer a sliding scale fee. We accept health insurance and Virginia Medicaid.
